Join Ruth and Justine for a magical day in a private woodland, for a chance to unwind and retreat from your busy life.
On arrival we will have time to have a welcome tea or coffee and get to know each other. 
Justine will begin the day by leading you through a deeply connecting 2 hour Breathwork session on our beautiful covered decking area which lies under a canopy of the trees. 
Conscious Connected Breathing is a gentle, simple technique that helps you to open up the full potential of your breathing system for better physical and emotional well-being. It's been demonstrated to have so many benefits, including a deepening relationship with yourself, increased energy, greater emotional clarity, better immune response, and increased ability to deal with stress in a healthy way.. It’s the means by which we can embark upon the ultimate journey: the one where we discover who we really are. It can also facilitate the growth needed in order for us to transform into who we’re capable of becoming.
We will have a short break and snack.
You'll then be guided into some gentle forest bathing, which then leads into a therapeutic creative explorative workshop after lunch. We will then forage for natural collage material , sketching , printing and textures, wood , paper , paint and pyrography which can  then be incorporated into a piece of art, sculpture or wall art in the afternoon. We will be in a relaxed state from our breath work, forest bathing and to allow ourselve more easily to tap into our creative state of flow. The emphasis for this workshop is to have no preconceived ideas and to explore the materials and be inspired by nature and connect to oneself and sew what emerges. It could be totally abstract or maybe symbols emerge. It could be all about colour or texture or a feeling or sensation that we might be experiencing.
 
Ruth will also lead you through an hour of therapeutic movement and stretching in the afternoon with an aromatic dressing and yoga nidra so that you leave us totally relaxed.
We will drink and eat together throughout the day and we will enjoy a seasonal hand made lunch of salads, bread and soup as well as homemade cake. Everything is included and is vegetarian. Please let us know if you are vegan or gluten,dairy free.
This retreat day is going to be kept small at a minimum of 8 people, so providing an intimate safe space.
