Join Ruth and her team for a Summer Solstice evening in the magical grounds of Birtley Woods, not far from Guildford, Surrey.
Come and spend a few hours before in the woodland visiting 11 artists who will be working and displaying their art during the day from 11- 5 pm. You will get a free drink and snacks so that you can start to unwind. We also have workshops going on in the day time which are booked separately- such as book binding, pyrography and willow craft. So you can combine a creative workshop in the day and then continue into the evening.
We will create a magical evening for you based in our woodland art and wellness space. We will meet on the woodland yoga deck for a seasonal summer yoga flow as well as a nature meditation and shavasana.
You can chill or go for a walk or take part in an optional short creative activity and make a floating candle to float on the lake when it is dark to set new intentions that have evoked during the evenig whilst the decking is being set up for our solstice supper.
A vegetarian feast will be provided by our caterers in the woodland kitchen and there will be a fire pit so that you can sit and socialise as well as take part in a little "letting go".
The amazing Lynn will be delivering her soothing sound bath and uses many instruments to bring us to the mist amazing gong and sound Bath that I have experienced and being outside amplifies the experience when you look up to the trees and hear the birds singing and bamboo rustling in the background. She may also incorporate a little Thai chi.
Throughout the evening we will celebrate the summer season through movement, meditation and breathwork and sound so that you can connect to yourselves more and be in harmony with nature.
Ruth will offer relevant essential oils to assist your practise and will also offer a short head massage in shavasana.
There is also an option to pop up a tent or camper if you would like to stay the night and enjoy a drink or two. Please email me about this if you are intending to do this.

Arrive from 3.30pm till late ( includes visit to artists, teaand snack. Summer solstice yoga,meditation and shavasana with a head massage with oils. Dinner under the woodland canopy and a sound bath under blankets. Followed by a fire pit , cacao or bring your own drinks ( alcoholic or non alcoholic) we can chat and dance!

This includes all if the above and a whole day of creative workshops. You have to choose pyrography all day or bookbinding or bookbinding and pyrography split workshop. Lorraine will also be offering willow workshops.
